Rosé in the Desert

Updated: Jun 24, 2020

Rosé wine is one of those drinks that you expect to enjoy in places published in magazines. This time we are bringing you a great spot to have a look on for one of those next glasses of rosé, the Longitude 131 boutique hotel in Uluru, Australia.

This place has the perfect spots to enjoy a delicious glass of rosé. Its glamping concept (camping with glamour, in other words, being in the middle of nowhere and in contact with nature but with all the necessary luxuries), makes it perfect to honor the famous quote "rosé all day".

The hotel is located in the middle of the desert with a stunning view of the monolith known as "Ayers Rock", and as part of the service, guided tours can be scheduled to walk closer and admire this tremendous majesty. Let's say it’s like an easy hike to nature but with delicious canapes paired with the wine of your choice! Is there a better way to enjoy the first rosé glass of the day?

And well, as you can imagine, each glamping room has a terrace with a spectacular view, an outdoor bed and a fireplace. Just the perfect setting to wrap yourself in a cozy blanket, watch the sunset and receive the cool night with glass in hand and delighting your palate while waiting for what will be one of the best dinners of your life.

The restaurant, led by chef Tom Saliba and his great team, takes care of all the details, making each meal a complete gastronomic and surprising experience. Each day a new menu is offered with different wine recommendations to pair. Being in the middle of the desert, without city light, under the stars, feeling the fresh air, while enjoying an excellent rosé and the best dishes in the world, is an exceptional experience like no other before.

In addition to all of the above, the hotel has an outdoor pool, spa, and other complementary tours. Here we leave the link in case you want to take a look and start dreaming of your next destination.
