Don't be afraid to try Bordeaux rosé or even one from Anjou!
Of course, in France, the most famous spots are in the south, the French Riviera.

Château Haut-Bailly, Rosé de Haut-Bailly, Bordeaux Rosé
Haut-Bailly is a must drink Bordeaux best wines. The surprise is fully complete when you discover that they are producing rosé too, only when Cabernet is perfect for that (around 3 vintages every 10 years)
Véronique Sanders and her team are producing this charming and complex cru with delicate tannins. A must try if you can find it !
Domaine du Bagnol, Cassis
Cassis is one of my favorite appellation.
Little peace of paradise, at Mediterranean sea border, the beauty of turquoise waters thrown at the foot of the majestic Cap Canaille. A handful of winemakers take care of this old appellation (only 200 hectares today) where, as in rare places, the magic of the place takes precedence over the wine. This saline rosé taste, precise and balanced, will give a great extra soul to red mullet "en papillote" or "Provencal". Do you hear the "cri cri" of the cicadas?
Château de la Mulonnière, La Vie en Rose, Cabernet d’Anjou 2016
The appellation produces some remarkable rosé wines, able to match any well-known kitchens. Well vinified by Saget's teams, this rosé offers a rich nose of red fruits tart and a digestible mouth despite the residual sugars specific to the appellation. Don't be shy like i was..... It's a good moment !
